Mainframe Utilization Rate Structure
In an effort to simplify the current rate structure and adjust the rates
in accordance with current costs, the following rates have been reviewed
with Grants and Contracts and are effective October 1,
1995. Towards simplification, we have included most of the
previous miscellaneous charges into the basic processor charge. There
are three categories of charges:
- CPU usage,
- disk usage, and
- print usage.
It is our hope that users who are attempting to monitor their costs will
find this approach easier. Documentation on the rate structure is
available in the usage note Mainframe Rate Structures
available at the UITS Help Desk in M039.
