New Stamford Modem Pool Numbers

Reformatted: January 30, 1998

As part of the implementation of the new downtown campus in Stamford, the phone services supporting that new location have been changed. As a result, the ASCII and PPP modem pool phone numbers will also change. To provide a smooth transition for this change, new ASCII and PPP pools will be installed at the downtown location on Thursday, January 29, 1998.

Both the old and new numbers will be functional until Monday, February 23, 1998, when the old ASCII and PPP numbers will be removed from service. All dial users are encouraged to change over to the new pool numbers as soon as possible to avoid connection difficulties later on.

The new ASCII dial number will be: (203) 251-8480. All current PPP customers will be mailed the new Stamford pool number.

Anyone with questions about this procedure or current PPP account holders needing the new PPP pool number should contact the Computer Center Help Desk at (860) 486-HELP/4357.
