Enterprise Server Software Changes

ATTENTION: Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors, Department Heads, and Other Interested Parties

On November 25, 1996, the following software changes will occur on the IBM Enterprise Server.

Mailbook (the E-mail software) will be upgraded to Mailbook 96 Although the look and feel of Mailbook 96 is similar to the current version, there are significant performance enhancements. In addition, MIME (Multimedia Internet Mail Extentions) is fully supported.

All current default options have been carried forward except for the following.
- NOLOG is now the default, i.e., outgoing mail will NOT be automatically saved. You will need to take action to save the mail.
- Printing of mail will now default to 2-UP format, i.e., landscape orientation, two logical pages on each physical page.
